Our client is a global multi-national. The company is committed to its sustainability and ESG ambitions, and we have taken on the project to reduce energy consumption on its campus. The company aims to reach net zero emissions across all operations by 2050 (Scope 1 and 2 emissions).
Our project for this company was underpinned by 3 principal drivers:
We devised a standardised solution that could be rolled out across all 14 Head Office Campus buildings. We worked collaboratively with the lighting OEM to offer retrofit LED into the existing luminaire shell. Simultaneously, we added Bluetooth controls for an additional layer of ease-of-use, functionality and intelligence.
This approach enhanced the environmental credentials of the project because all of the existing bespoke luminaires could remain in use and in-situ.
Energy Savings: To date, around 6500 devices and luminaire conversion kits have been delivered and installed – savings data (once collected and verified) is anticipated to be high.
Streamlined Maintenance: A smart lighting control system brings the benefit of efficient maintenance. Luminaires can report failures online, using visual tools and custom notifications to alert stakeholders. This proactive approach allows for quick identification and resolution of issues before they become noticeable, putting on-site teams in complete control.
Supporting ESG Goals: This project will contribute to achieving net zero emissions on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2050 for the client.
