The project goal was to make the shift to energy-efficient LED panels. This upgrade was also an opportunity to introduce smart controls for additional savings and improved operational efficiency.
Prime Controls collaborated closely with a global LED manufacturer to supply new 600×600 LED panels equipped with smart HubSense® drivers. HubSense adds a layer of intelligence to the luminaires – offering wireless capability combined with remote mains-powered Bluetooth PIRs.
The system was configured to enable:
The transition involved replacing existing luminaires on a like-for-like basis across five floors of office spaces, totalling around 300 luminaires.
The entire installation process, including commissioning, took five days, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. The commissioning phase, using HubSense® technology, was completed efficiently within a morning, including comprehensive training for the Operations Team.
